Edging on Blocking Paving Path

Hello,

I have a block paving path in the back garden where over the last 10+ years the edge has gradually fallen away and I'm looking for some advice on how to repair it.

I'm thinking to remove the cracked concrete and 'kerbing' and build something stronger, but the how and what with is where I'm looking for suggestions. Any help would be appreciated.

Is the path sloping down away from the edging or is it an optical illusioun in your pics. Either way it looks like you have problems on both sides and it looks like it hasn't been laid very well especially when it has probably only had foot traffic. I think the only lasting solution would be to take it all up and start again

Look like lawn drying has shrunk soil away causing base to subside and fail , base probably not substantial enough for edge blocks . The lawn level is too low , should be covering cement .

dig it out and relay it properly, use a 6" deep edge (i'm guessin its 4" whats in)
I know it sounds like a big job but probably not that bad to do

in the spirit of always going way over the top, I made mine a double !
