Indeed - and I wouldn't think many hours, either. Even in Word (or equivalent), although using Excel would probably make things more flexible.

Excel lends itself to having fields to fill in, one could use conditional formatting to highlight errors, cells can be protected so you can't accidentally edit them, if you have a tester which stores results I'd not be surprised to find that they are, or can be got as, comma separated....
Exactly - that's what I meant when I said that Excel would, for this purpose, be more 'flexible' than, say, Word (although, admittedly, one can do a fair amount of manipulation/automation in Word Tables).
