Hi all
We moved into this house about 6 months ago and have an electric gainsborough energy2000x. its pretty crap. not a power shower, more water would come out of a sink that this shower.

I would like a power shower, but can I just go ahead and buy one, or is there anything I need to consider? for example, is the energy2000x just an average/not very good shower? or is it someone else thats making it like this? because its electric maybe?

any ideas? thank you, katie

should still be pretty powerful.

you can have a power shower,
what type of boiler system have you?
gainsborough are not the best electric shower
what you mean it's not powerful ?

A normal power shower is basically just a pump. These normally use the installed hot and cold water supplies. These are also normally only used on gravity systems.
An electric shower heats its own water and is normally connected to the mains cold water supply.
