Check the existing cable is suitable for a new shower before you remove the old one.

Hi guys,

Just to update this and put the matter to rest.

Got the Triton Madrid II from Argos on Wednesday and finally fitted it last night.

As soon as I took the cover off the Madrid and held it up against the T80Si it looked almost IDENTICAL... seriously apart from the cover design and the stop/start button the internals could have been the same shower.

This made fitting the thing a doddle, identical straight replacement meant it was done and working in an hour if that.

Tried it out this morning and worked fine, got out of shower and pulled the pull cord to switch it off and the bloody cord snapped so now I need a new pull cord swtich too

At least its working though, thanks for the help everyone.
