Electric shower.

A customer of mine is having a new bathroom fitted, and as part of the refurb, he want's to upgrade his shower to a 10.8kW model.

The existing feed was a mix of 4.0mm² and 6.0mm², so I went to rewire it yesterday.

On removing the old shower I found this:

My fave was also a 10.8 but it was on 2.5! A tad warm.... :shock:

Shower with under floor heating as free extra ?

I think it was on DIYnot that I saw a photo of a shower with the heater tank fitted above the shower head and a single live feed with the neutral return via the water pipe.
 
It's likely the shower had been replaced before and the entry hole and mounting position were different, therefore bodge and scarper Ltd were in there element!
But with the pipework being surface mounted, any one who cared could have resolved this!
