Our underfloor heating thermostat is faulty. To replace it with the same model as currently fitted it would cost £60.

I have been looking for a replacement online and see that they all seem to come with 10k temperature probes whereas our original one has a 110k temperature probe.

Would a replacement thermostat supplied with a 10k probe still work with the existing probe? We dont want to have to remove tiles and replace the probe.

Or does anyone have any recommendations for thermostat that will work?

Thanks.

The original thermostat is a Timeguard one and this is the second one to go faulty since the system was installed in 2006 so if possible I would like something better, more reliable and with a larger LCD display.
