Electrical Work

Hi,

can someone that has completed level 2 and 3 in 2330 and BS7671 17th Edition fix ceiling lights (change existing fittings) and change faces of sockets and light switches? Do the they need to be registered with a governing body? Thanks

Your average DIYer (or even a plumber) can do that work.
Bearing in mind that all electrical work should be done safely.

No need to join anything. If you are doing electrical work for others then you would advised to take out public liability insurance.
