Electrician error kills plumber

Talking of washing machines and leccy shocks .
One time ours packed up. Hotpoint- and I prided myself in keeping it going for donkeys years - replacing usual stuff.
Anyway- this particular time I had my T shirt on and shorts- slippers too.
I tried it out- and wasn't working--I unplugged it , took the top off and reached down the back to check the belt.
BAMMMM-FLASHHH - SHOCK RIGHT UP MY BARE ARM.

Wrenched my back real bad .
I'd bet 'H' knows what my bare arm touched ???.

There seems to have developed an awful lot of pointless argument here, maybe for arguments sake,

You're relatively new to to this forum, aren't you?

If 5 years is new - then Yes!!!!

Should have said inexperienced instead, going on number of posts.

'for argument's sake' is the General Discussion motto (LATIN - 'arguendo gratia argumentum').

Thanks for the info re. electricity though. Quite informative.

if it helps,for the diyists,be carefull if you unplug, a machine,or a pump,if its got a capaciter,can still hold a charge,and give you a belt.
