electrics keeps tripping

Thanks for the help so far and have got somewhere.

I refitted all the wiring that I had done on the heat pump. Following that the cooker works fine and nothing else tripped any more apart from the immersion heater which still trips. Does that suggest that the element has gone. Is there a way to check that as it is proving difficult to remove.

Disconnect the cable to the element at the element & insulate the wires if it does not trip when power is re supplied then the chances are more than likely that you have a faulty element
