I am looking for a book or web link about the theory side of electrical installation. I need to learn all the maths etc.

They arn't much good for teaching you theory... try Whitefield's Electrician's guide, can even read some of it here: http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Book/1.1.htm

Confession: i've been installing for years but by the numbers. I am going for my part P soon but the theory is where I will fall on my back side.
