Don't know, only electrical "work" i do is temp the boiler till my mate turns up.

I am very surprised that on a properly connected installation any shock can be had.

Or is this an installation made with plastic pipework?

On a proper installation all the pipework and boiler chassis are connected together and everything is at earth potential.

Have you tried contacting the local Worcester Bosch Rep, they need to know that one of their 'accredited' guys is working dangerously and that Gas Safe have been notified and that a Riddor has been completed. If the guy fits lots of WB boilers then more than likely not a lot will happen to him.
I am a WAI and it grates my cheese that I could be labelled as a cowboy because of this clown.
