email notification

i cant find how i did it before, so i am looking for a pointer.
i want to change the email received bing to something of my choice.

i have serached and all i have found is how to turn it off or on, but as i said i know it can be changed but its so long ago i cant remeber where it is you click then select new sound any ideas?

I assume you are using Outlook Express + XP? The sound setting is actually part of Windows, rather than OE itself.

Go to Windows control panel and double click Sounds & Audio Devices. Select the Sound Tab and then scroll down the program events until you find 'New Mail Notification'. You can then change the WAV file for something else.
