I have been wallpapering using Anaglypta Argo paintable wallpaper and panting with Dulux Matt emulsion in “sail white”.

I am finding the painting is drying patchy in areas and appears more when looking across the wall, so I think it’s some of the edges of the embossed pattern.

I’ve already done 3 coats with a brush but I just seem to be moving these dark areas.

Any ideas how to make the final coat more even?

I would normally use a medium pile roller on a texture like that.
Mind you textured paper will always cast shadows, from the light source.
