Hi All,
I'm about to install engineered flooring throughout my flat (except bathroom and kitchen).
As you can see from the attached diagram of the layout, it's only a one bedroomed flat and I'd like to run the planks all the way through from the living room through the hall and into the bedroom, without breaks, as this would help the flat 'flow' to the eye.
I understand the logic of treating each room separately normally as each room would have different temperatures, humidity, etc, but as the flat is quite small would it be possible to do it without door trims ? I would leave at least 10mm expansion gap at each end.
Any advice gratefully received,
Duncan
