We're about to fit this engineered wood flooring (http://www.diy.com/nav/decor/floori...k-Flooring-Life-Bevel-Brushed-1-05Sqm-9586562) in our entrance hall and 2 downstairs rooms. Managed to order a whole lot of it under B&Q's 3 for 2 offer.

However, I am having a bit of last minute anxiety! We have a baby on the way and I've been hearing that this kind of flooring can be pretty sensitive to any kinds of spills or water. Is it a bit unwise to fit it?

It's all a bit last minute now but I'm now wondering if we should be going with something like Pergo laminate which seems to be a lot more resistant to water.
