Hi All
We are refurbishing a house at the moment and are fitting UFH between the joists upstairs.

The finished floor will be engineered wood which I can get at 20/6mm and am currently planning on laying directly onto the joists and screwing down. Given the thickness of the boards I see no reason to lay a sub floor first.

Is this a sensible plan or am I better laying subfloor with a thinner engineered wood over the top?

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks
