According to snowysnout, if it's gdp growth you're after, then not being a member is beneficial.
Well, there is an exception of course.
If you're country is a bit mismanaged/corrupt/incompetent then the, EU is the club for you.
All the competent countries will be forced to throw money your way resulting in massive growth.
It all helps the spreadsheet look good.

He has no beneficial ownership & all taxes due were paid correctly.
