My grandfather introduced me to whiskey and orange lol.I always remember as a child trying whiskey neat. I quickly learned I preferred it with lemonade.

I got fed up with the hangovers so knocked it on the head. I don't do just a couple of beers or whatever, I go for it, so better I leave it behind the bar or else it's carnage. I have a relative with COPD which I know is different but I've seen what happens. I am sorry for you mate.I enjoy a drink in an evening. Can't do much more these days, if I go for a walk a bottle of oxygen only lasts about 40 minutes so can't go far. Even if the legs were up to it the lungs aren't. Find weeding the garden hard work, can do about 6 minutes then have to sit and rest before the next bit.

That was sensible of him. My dad used to just pour me neat whiskey my mother went crazy and said he shouldn’t be giving me whiskey like that so she added a drop of lemonade to it and I liked it.My grandfather introduced me to whiskey and orange lol.

Only the best tho, Bells.I always remember as a child trying whiskey neat. I quickly learned I preferred it with lemonade.
You were a businessman from the off.I'd get a £1 for dinner money each day. On the way to school I'd buy 10L&Bs and a box of matches 97p.
Sell 4 fag's at school for 25p each then walk home and get my dinner from the cupboards/fridge![]()

Bells was the preferred whiskey of choice. I used to buy grouse with my own pocket money though. I used to buy a Beano and a quarter bottle of grouse.Only the best tho, Bells.
Yep, I was sick.
Not a huge fan of Bells, I prefer Grouse, although I do live about 5 minutes from the Penderyn whiskey factory.Only the best tho, Bells.

You've left out the 1 before the 5... haven't you?I recall all of the other kids used to get sent home sick. I used to get sent home for being drunk. Oh I wished I was 5 again.
