Gluten free food. What’s everybody’s thoughts on that? Mrs Mottie has just been diagnosed as Coeliac and apart from finding gluten free food being bloody expensive, it’s always pretty 'orrible too!

Never tried it, sorry to hear about Mrs Mottie.

That is true. We have quite a few coeliacs in the extended family, and the bread brands they thought were the best ten years ago they now think are awful, as better ones came along.
 
It also makes a very nice sauce for steak with cream, mushrooms and onions.

Although I do love whisky, honey and mustard sauce with chicken and that is obviously quite sweet.

I think it's when there are onions, cream and a sweet wine together that it is just a bit too much for me.
 
Anyone used to have one of these grills? I'm sure cheese on toast tasted better done on one of these...

Poached eggs on two golden toasted english muffins with beans. Then spotted dick and custard. I love Fridays.
