I have a PIR sensor here with 8 terminals. +12v, -12v, 2 for tamper, 2 for relay and 2 marked 'EOL'. Anyone have any clue as to what the 'EOL' terminals are for? All my other sensors only have 6 terminals.

End Of Line EOL

A good way of monitoring the signal channels and if some smart arse tries to cut the lines the resistive loading changes and causes detection.

Thats the basic explanation.
