Hi all,
I’m wondering if anyone could shed some light on a hive related problem, it looks a lot easier on the instruction book .
I have a Worcester greenstar 15ri with a Potterton EP2002 timer and trying to install a hive 2, but the wiring behind the EP2002 has no CH off wire? also lots more wires which from what I have found out need joining in other connectors! Any info on what I should do with connector 5 wiring? Any wiring info for the Potterton would be useful. Thanks for any help .
I’m quite a confident diy’er but wasn’t expecting so many cables so it may be a case for the professional’s

The EP isn’t a standard back plate so for the sake of £60 get a professional to do it

Good call thanks people! I think that might be the best route. Would you expect £60 to be roughly what it would cost for a plumber/electrician to do the job?

Hi all again, so I took your advice and got a electrician to install the hive, but it’s not how I’d expected it to be installed(should the EP2002 timer still be there) can anyone tell me if this is the correct way or if it will work just the same? I’ve got to get them to return anyway as they haven’t wired the hot water into the hive, so its the original timer that seems to be controlling the hot water
