This is still a great alarm system, and one I have extended with a wired keypad.. sadly however the pad doesnt pass on the alarm arm/disarm sounds as i had hoped. (see main panel not by front door)

has anyone extended the sounder from the main panel to another location using something similar in speaker size/mlar?

thanks

not familiar with these and only been called out to one or two. does the installation manual give an guidance?

thought all the speakers were built in, rather than extendable.

it is built in in the main box. but opening it i can see the twin wire that goes from mb to speaker
but figured i could route this out of the box and into another speaker

in the manual or on the speaker will be its specification. you can get speakers in a variety of formats. that will look okay and do the job, just need to find out what its rated at.

Had a quick look at the manual looks like the intaphone may be the easiest option but don’t know is there no tech help, Risco do this?

was thinking more like the alarm speaker extender units about..(CQR Alto Internal Alarm Sounder) comes in at under a tenner normally

probably to the cable inside the main box that supplies the builtin speaker?
