Hi all,

I hope someone can help me with this.
I am trying to replace an old doorbell in a house with wiring that has not been touched in a while. The instructions from Eufy are fairly straight forward for replacing modern doorbells, but mine is a bit of a mishmash as can be seen from the photos.
Apparently I am supposed to jump the Trans and Front, but I do not have any such markings.
Can anyone help with that?

Thank in advance.

Hi,

I may be very wrong! :)
But, from what I can see in the downloads section of the Eufy website, it looks as if only the US version mentions bridging 'Front' and 'Trans' connections.
And only the US version includes bridging wires in the kit.
The EU instructions seem to say that the kit is incompatible with existing bells.

Can you confirm the model number of the system you have and I can check if I'm wrong! :)

Hi RG,

The model number is T8200311 I think. It does include bridging wires, but I tested the voltage (16v) and decided to go ahead and wire it as it is. It seems to be working ok and the old bell doesn't seem to be ringing when the doorbell is pushed.

Thanks for looking into it.
