House came with a EUROSEC CP8L.

The consumer unit has a 6amp mcb for the alarm, and, a 6amp mcb for the alarm bell.

Electrician is fitting a electric cooker although we have no space in the CU.

I suggested consolidating, so 1x 6amp mcb feeds both the bell and alarm, using 2x switched fcu, freeing up a slot in the CU.

Is there any problem doing this? Any reason why the bell and alarm have their own MCBs?

Yes, stickers on mcb.

Bell leads to transformer, output goes up to loft, not to front door. Front door has wireless doorbell and plugin jobbies.

Now I am questioning it. Does this alarm feed the bell/siren from the panel instead of a seperate transformer?

Ok, googled tbe transformer.
Apologies, its a doorbell transformer.
Doh.
At least I know the mcb can be removed.
Thank you both.
I am an idiot

I'll turn it off tomorrow and see what happens.
Its a byron transformer, for doorbells.
