EVER SEE THE MOVIE....THE BIRDS?

I wish I had access to my camera....

I dont know much about birds...these are hawks I think. I see them from time to time usually just one or two soaring above....never took much notice. But....I'm sitting here looking out the window...and I cant count them all...I started counting by fives....stood up and saw that in the distance there were more (all perched in trees) It's about 5 pm. I would estimate about 80 of them.....and I see more approaching. Being winter and no leaves on the trees....the silohette is creepy to say the least. Anyone know about this sort of thing?.....I guess they have to be somewhere...it's just weird is all. [/i]

Usualy flocking behaviour gets very noisy...

after a little research.....they're not hawks (much bigger )...they are turkey buzzards aka turkey vultures.....i got the binoculars out and yep that's what they be! creepy having that many at one time though....
