had a call today to a wirleess system baged by Everest the window people.

customer has the user guide and the engineers code but not engineering manual, the eng code he had only appeared to be a supervisor code and wouldn't let me into anything more then omitting zones, as he wanted a door contact taking off his patio door and it needed deleting from the system.

does anyone have any information on this panel? The engineers manual would be really handy.

i believe its a Abcus 6/14 wireless system.

Just take both parts of the contact, tape them together and lob them in a cupboard somewhere.

Job done.

thats what ive done as a temp measure.

doing that still means the battery in the contact needs replacing every so often.
i want to delete the device from the system completely

Yup. Another problem with wireless alarms.

I can't help you with a manual.

I don't touch wireless alarms. (Unless carrying them to the bin)

we try and not to use wireless alarms however if we do we use ones from the big names like Cooper (Scantronic) and Visonic
