EW1000I - Motor Sparks

Hi,

To start my washing machine(Electolux EW100I) I have to give the motor a tap with the thick end of my screw driver for it to kick in. Once going it works for the duration of the program. However, it does make sparking noise and there are sparks coming off the motor near what I think are the brushes on one side.

Do I have to replace the brushes, motor or both?

Any help would be very appreciated!

brushes, give the motor a quick hoover (turn off first) with the small nozel

Struggling to source some brushes. Anyone got any ideas?
