Does anyone know what an 'Exit Terminator’ button is?

Ref: Installation Manual INS176-15

Premier Elite Series

Area Arming modes.

2 - Exit Term.
The suite will arm after the ‘Entry/Exit’ door has been closed, the ‘Exit
Terminator’ button has been pressed and the ‘Exit Settle’ timer has
expired.

It's a button you press , which ends ( terminates ) the exit timer
