Hello,
I hope this makes sense although I think I have a problem. I have a Baxi condensing boiler which operates in a sealed system. After winter I quarter turned the wee black switch under the sink to turn on the water supply to a tap on the outside wall. It was apparent immediately that there was a burst as I could hear the water escaping so I switched it off.
The pipe which leads from the switch goes through a wall to the outside. However, before it goes outside there is a pipe which comes off it and leads to a (Zilmet?) expansion vessel the size of a tennis ball which does not go any further. Can this arrangement be correct and serve any purpose?
Very grateful for any advice.
