Put in an Expelair fan today, and all works well .. until i put the front cover on, and it catches with the fan !! What am i doing wrong?

It's in the ceiling, and i had to make the hole bigger to stop the fan catching on itself... but the front cover shouldn't cathc?
Is it all new, are you using the fixings supplied?

The actual impeller part is usually just a push-fit on a shaft.

Yes, all new. And just two screws in opposite corners to secure it to the ceiling. And its a DX100HTA.
its the flexi duct thats holding it !!!!put ur hand up in and keep it away from the blades before u screw it up !!
Sometimes if you over tighten fan to mounting, you get this type of problem.
But generally happens on replace of fan on to existing housing.

Most likely this, try unloosening the fixings slightly, you may have warped the mould of the fan, mis shaping it slightly.
