extend over drains ??

Hi All.....
I'm moving house and the bungalow I'm looking at I wish to extend the only trouble is just out side the real kitchen door were I hope to extend are drains [ waste form kitchen and bathroom ]see photo, there is an inspection cover just out of site in the photo and the drain are about 9" down and run straight down the full light of the garden.
The question is can I build over the drain or do they have to be moved

Most kitchen and rear extensions are built over drains

Drains can be built over
But you wont want that waste gulley inside your extension
You can box the soil pipe in and send the the sink waste into a boss on the soil pipe
Though it looks like a cast iron soil in the pic, so might be easier to renew with plastic
