People,

I need to lengthen a piece of 15mm pipe by cutting it and then inserting some sort of fitting. Due to problems associated with draining all water I would prefer a solderless connection. I would also prefer to avoid any push fit fitting.

Can anyone please advise if they know of a compression fitting (perhaps with an isolator) or similar device that can extend the pipework by around 6cm. Perhaps I could use a 15mm compression compression flexi?

The pipework feeds a radiator so has hot water. I was thinking of using something like this:-

or perhaps a straight inline TRV

or perhaps a 15mm compression to 15mm compression with 15mm bore flexi?

Help would be appreciated

Just call a plumber he will have it done in minutes with soldered joint.

When you take into account all the messing about probably easier.
