Extending a pendant light

Please go easy... First time posting and not clued up with electrics at all.
Our electrician has just installed a pendant light for us, but now its up we would really like it to hang a little lower. Its hung from a roof lantern so finding a light with long suspension was hard as it is. It currently hangs at its maximum 120cm but ideally we would like it at about 150cm. Photos attached (excuse the mess... Mid extension and kitchen install).
Easiest option would be get a different light but we love this one, just need it to be longer (sigh!).

You only need a longer chain (or bit more the same) and a longer piece of cable.

Simples.

Last time I looked b&q had chain by the metre and they also do cable.

Oh great stuff thanks both for your replies. Would a qualified electrician need to do the alteration or would a competent person suffice?

Any competent person. It’s a DIY job, if you feel up to it.
