Hi.

I have 4mm SWA coming into my garage connected to a small plastic garage CU. The CU is located in a really awkward vulnerable position at a low level, the access cover of the CU has already been damaged. It's my intention to raise it to a higher safer position. I have purchased a replacement metal garage CU and am looking for advice regarding extending the cabling to this higher position. I already have a Wisk 308 junction box which I could use or perhaps something larger to form the junction from the incoming SWA using Wago 221-612 connectors. Regarding the short length of cabling from the new junction to the new CU, I'm presuming that 4mm t@e would do the job.

Yeah just gland it into the Wiska box, The Armour requires earthing at one end at the very least (best practice for both ends), you could use a piranha nut with a round crimp lug if required at the garage end. Maybe use either short length of conduit or copex from the Wiska to your new CU just for a bit of mechanical protection in the garage

Some of the wiska boxes also offer "earthing bars" which make earthing the armour really easy.
