Neighbours have extension which is too close to our flue and we need to extend it upwards - it currently comes out of the wall and turns up 90 degrees.

What boiler make and model do you have?

I'm afraid we cannot see across the internet

Or another way of putting it is that your flue was put in the wrong place.... Not a problem if you have a modern condensing boiler as most of the manufacturers do plume management kits

was your flue put too near the existing extention, or was the new extention put too near your existing flue, depending on when the boiler went in surely you do not need to do anything with it, other than have it called NCS (Not to Current Standard) when it is serviced next

SIME super 90 plus combi boiler - flue fitted correctly in the first place - can it be extended? if so - how?

Thanks

If the flue was correctly sited, then it should be at least 600mm from the neighbours extension.. assuming that they have built right up to their boundary...

I'm sure that SIME will do flue extension kits to get the flue to exit elsewhere but they should be run internally... Not too familiar with this boiler, am guessing that it is non condensing.
