Hi all,

I have recently moved into a house and the guttering/downpipes seems to be quite close to the building and may be causing some dampness in the building!

Is there anyway of extending the downpipes/spouts in the pictures? I've searched but really have no idea what I am searching for?

Thanks

It's difficult to see what goes where but you can put a 90 degree bend on that first pic and then buy some downpipe and route it away.

The second pic again can't see much but for a start that shoe needs to be turned around so it shoots the water across the length of the lead instead of up the poly.

Thanks.

On that first pic, I've got a 90 degree bend that fits over but does not stay in place, should I be using something to keep it in place or should it just slot in?

Concerning the second one, I'll try and get that shoe turned round.

Thanks again for your help.

if youre already buying some pipe why not use the left over from the ground level and route the higher part down the roof to the gutter with 112 degree bends. you can buy little plugs where you drill a small hole and pop them in to hold things together or use glue

You have to cut a tiny bit of pipe to put inside the bend so it goes on better

Thanks for the help guys, will get this done when it stops raining!!!
