Hi I'm looking to replace a couple of radiators and valves. They have 10mm copper pipes that jut out the wall just above the skirting boards at 45 degrees. Im a bit concerned thatIn order to replace the existing olive and compression nut i think id need to cut the pipe, losing a bit of length. So when i come to fit the new one,the pipe wont be long enough. Is there any way to avoid this? Or an easy way or extending the pipes?

Thanks

Remove the olive without damaging the pipe and you will not have altered its length . If not possible ,use valves with 15 mm inlet and solder onto the 10mm a 10 to 15 mm fitting reducer.
