Extending sockets through 50mm thermal insulation boards

If you want advice on rearing toddlers, cooking, motherhood etc I will be more than happy to assist!!

Why wont my 7 month old son sleep all night, why can I no longer function until ten AM and why cant i get to sleep at night, all this has started since the new addition.

you have to ask like they do..

I'll edit it for you..

Why can I no longer function until ten AM and why cant i get to sleep at night?

and then on the 3rd page you add the bit about it starting 7 months ago, about the time you got the newborn..

The boards are ballytherm 50mm and 9mm plasterboard. Have ordered some extension rings and picked up foil tape too. Got 30amp terminal blocks as couldn't get a crimping tool in diy shop but may get one off line. Thank you for your advice. I will be moving sockets to get additional slack in rooms that haven't been done - unless wall proves too difficult to chiisel out which may be the case with the stone.

The boards have foil between foam and plaster for vapour.

The crimper you will require will look like this. Around £12. Do not get an automotive crimper.

Assuming the circuit is wired in 2.5mm² t+e then you will require blue crimps for the line/neutral and red for the earth. Do not use automotive crimps.
