Hi all,
We have a 2 bed Victorian end terrace and are looking for some ideas of how we might extend. Bedrooms are the main priority but I don't think loft conversion is an option due to roof structure and low clear height. Lowering the ceilings might be an option but probably extremely expensive and would take away from the character somewhat I think.
I have attached some photos - ideally we would like to add a bedroom by either possibly extending over back section of house and also extending into side return and out a bit like next door have done for some extra living space.
Does anyone know what type of roof structure we have? As you will see from the photos the ceilings in the bedrooms are slanted as if the rooms are already part way into loft - what is this called?
Many thanks in advance.
Cheers
