Exterior Grade Ply ok for Shower Tray Base?

Fitting a shower tray, so want to relpace the chipboard but local supplier does not stock marine ply, only exterior grade.

Is this just as good for my purpose?

BTW THe shower tray has easy plumb kit so sitts on plastic legs

If the tray is on legs, then I would just replace the chipboard you have with the green moisture resistant stuff.
Alot cheaper than ply.
But ply is ok nevertheless.

That will be broken within the year, so it matters not what is underneath.
