Hi All,
We live in an 8 year old "new build" house (if 8 years is still classed as new build) and has some white exterior wall cladding from when it was built. We are looking to move property and our purchaser had a home survey done on our house - which we have no issue with. One of things flagged is the apparent "low-grade" exterior wall cladding beause of these little chips in 3 corners.
They claim this is "low grade materials" (but couldnt explain what a high grade material is/make/brand/should look like) and I'm wondering , after 8 years would these little marks be of serious concern or normal wear and tear? Yes, They are little chips, and I acknowledge that, but its not like huge chunks have fallen off?
We have never had any problems with the cladding - at least to our knowledge - but thought I'd ask here for any views.
Thankyou for your time
Mark.
