Hi all

Sorry for the basic question..... I'm looking for an exterior wood filler. It's for small gaps, etc in my window frames.

Can anyone recommend a decent product? I seem to remember that car body filler can be used?

I'll be overpainting with a WB paint.

Cheers

Max

Curiously enough, Isopon elastic is a wonderful exterior filler, and moves in the way it should....obviously it needs painting over though.

What kind of caulk would you recommend please?

And what would be the advantages/disadvantages of using caulk instead of wood filler?

I tend to use Evo stick caulk. The benefits of caulk for this instance is that it is flexible, easy to apply and cheap.
