External door bottom seal

I have a door with a metal strip inserted into the sill. There is a rebate on the bottom of the door and this should seal against the upstanding metal strip but it doesn't!

Can anyone suggest a robust and hopefully adhesive type seal that I can apply to either the door or the metal strip?
