Hi

I have an existing fused spur, flush mounted internally, supplying and switching external lighting.

I understand that the external supply should be RCD protected, but it's not directly, however the main dist board is RCD protected. Do I need to change anything?

I have had a look for an RCD switched fused spur to replace the standard switched spur, I may be being a bit thick but, I can only find the unswitched variety.

Many thanks in anticipation

If the circuit is RCD protected at the CU you do not need or want a second RCD at the spur.
