Hi all,

I've just bought this trap due to a severe lack of space avaialble under my kitchen sink. (http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Plumbing/Sink+Wastes+Traps/Espace+Extra+Flat+Sink+Trap+1+12+Lengthening+Piece++Adaptor/d20/sd3299/p54424)
This will take waste from a 1.5 bowl sink and dishwasher.

I have subsequently realised that it only has 50mm seal depth.

The drainage configuration is that this sink plumbs directly into the end of a soil pipe. Am I correct in thinking that this will not meet building regs as part H states that I need to have a 75mm seal?

Technically (and practically) you are right minimum 75mm on a 40mm waste

It shouldn't present a problem in daily use, but if the regs are important then maybe fit a HepVo valve in the run, will take less space than a trap and provide compliance with the regs.
