Extra Security for a Keter Store-It-Out XL

Hi.

I have a Keter Store-It-Out XL storage box and I love it! Really good quality and does the job perfectly.

However, I'd like to increase the security on it as the one pad lock and plastic (although sturdy) clip wouldn't be too difficult to get in to.

For those of you unfamiliar with the Keter Store-it-out check these site... http://www.reviewashed.com/keter-store-it-out-xl/

What I'm looking for is a way to make it more resistant to brute force attacks, has anyone done anything like this with theirs?

Ideas welcome..

Lee.

Best use a pop rivet gun to fix things onto the (twin wall) plastic......on mine, I've a bolt on the left door that shoots downward into the base, and a quality hasp and staple with padlock halfway down the two doors.
Mind you. any passing toe rag would cut their way in, I guess.
As I keep quite a few petrol tools in a lock up shed, I use a strong cable with a decent lock to bind them all together (Toolstation 27446).

I have something similar, and it has two Squire 660 padlocks (which are very weather resistant). You can also fit a hasp using short coach bolts, which have the nut on the inside, and the bolt head is smooth and round, with no slox or hex for a screwdriver or spanner. It has a square shank and larger hasps are made with square fixing holes to accomodate them.

I have found that no other padlock lasts so well when exposed to the weather.
