extracting bathroom fans

squeaky or rubbing noise, is it? probably worn out.

If your fan is making happy sounds then play another song. If the fan is naking un-happy sounds then leave the stage.

But seriously what noise is it making ? It might just need a clean to remove fluff from around the fan blades. Switch OFF the power before cleaning it.

Take the cover off and clean the fan blade (isolate first) it might just be out of balance with the accumulation of dirt sticking to the fans.

it makes load sounds and we can not bare it so we turned it off but its attached by the lights. it is close to the attic roof to look at it.

Load sounds, is it heavy?

Aah. I think you mean loud.

There should be an isolation switch for the fan?, if it has been installed properly!

If you do not have one then you'll need to turn off the power at the fuseboard and then remove the wires to the fan.

Note what wires go where.

The buy a new fan.
