Extractor fan ducting

Definitely not a good setup - uphill is not sensible for ducting under any circumstances. I know it'll be tricky getting up to the roof line or the gutters, but is it possible to duct it out of the soffits, preferably shortest route from the fan rather than the extended length you've got there.

With this type of ducting the inner layer is usually perforated to improve the sound insulation properties of the ducting. Therefore, the OP needs to make sure the one he's using is a correct type that also has an additional vapour barrier film between the inner layer and the mineral wool insulation layer.
