Hello,
I have a very old kitchen extractor fan which I would like to replace. The current unit extracts via an air brick. It's ducted properly and it looks to have a 5" round to air brick converter on the inside of the wall (no gas in the kitchen and there are other vents).
I would like to install a gravity closing grille with flaps on the outside to reduce insects and drafts but the only ones I can see would mean removing the current air brick as they don't sit flush. The Air Brick is approx 9" by 8".
Am i on the right path here please / could anybody recommend something I should look at or should I just leave the brick open?
Thank you.
