Just painted a large ceiling with first coat of F&B Modern emulsion in 'All White' onto mist coat.
(F&B shop told us to use this and not to use Dead Flat matt as that might peel from moisture in the kitchen area in a few months/years)
Early Evening sun was reflecting in through the bifolds through the polythene sheeting and the ceiling looked poor. Like the Modern Emulsion sheen may be showing up minor flaws.
Now we don't know whether it just needs a second coat, or whether to abandon it and use some other properly matt paint ?
If painting over would we need to sand it - it is 38 sqm, and we need to get it finished urgently
- now stuck.
